this may be old/useless news to y'all, but ... while reading thru
Zend_Db and PDO info, i came across

        PHPObjectGenerator

which claims:

"PHP Object Generator, (POG) is an open source PHP code generator which
automatically generates clean & tested Object Oriented code for your
PHP4/PHP5 application."

and plays-nice w/ PDO.

at the very least ... cute.

for those that already (a) write our own, and/or (b) use the likes of
argouml etc etc, fine ... no disagreement.  i said it was cute, not robust.

otoh, it's a fine/introductory learning tool for getting someone started
... suggesting that uml be adopted is not, imho, a panacea either.
